A Little Character Development

So, for a third series, what kind of character would you have for a lead role?

Male/female?
strong/weak?
involved/indifferent?

What are your ideas for a lead character? Would you make him/her different from Jack and Shepp?

I just had a thought. Could you picture a female Jack?

LOVE the idea of a 'female Jack'...LOL!

Since the third series will supposedly deal with time travel, there will be a need for someone who has studied the 'phenomenon'...and of course, someone familiar with the Stargate itself. I think a historian/archaeologist would be a good idea as well, depending on whether the 'team' (if there is such a thing in the show) goes into the past. An anthropologist would give insight into societies past, present and future, I think.

It will be interesting to see what the writers come up with. As I've said before, with what they did to Stargate SG-1, I'm NOT holding my breath! :sigh:
