Among the following team leaders if you were on an off world mission, which leader is the one you would most NOT want to cross, meaning you'd make sure to stay on their good side without being argumentative or anything.

I said Cameron Mitchell. I think because I have so much respect for him and I see that look in his eyes that says "Danger, don't cross this man," that those two things combined would make me never want to cross him. Now I have respect for the other two, but they don't have that look in their eye.

I'd have to say Jack, his whole persona just screams 'Don't Mess With Me' I could be wrong here, but hey, that's life.

I figured most people would say Jack when I started the poll. I guess to me, he seems like he accepts a lot more stuff before putting his foot down, probably because he has such an irreverant sense of humor. Cameron, I feel, is a little more intense.
Now granted, if I put on their Kurt Russell's Jack O'Neil, he would have had my vote hands down. His impersonation of Jack is the most intense of any character in the movie or series combined aside from some villains.

Shep just seems the most tempermental.

I voted for Sheppard. Yeah, John (lets kick some Wraith butt) Sheppard. I like the sounds of that.
Jack is getting to be a push over as he gets older and well Cam...lets just not go there on what I think of him. LOL

I know there's a Cameron Mitchell #1 fan hiding just below the surface. ;)

I don't think it's so much the character (although Cam Mitchell and John Crichton are interchangable!), as much as the way he was brought onto the show and shoved down our throats.

Considering I love Cameron, you're argument isn't getting any sympathy from me. ;)
But then I tend to support the underdog.

You know, that's a very good point. See, I was thinking Jack wouldn't loose his temper easily. However, he could put on a serious hurt if he did!

And the thing is, you'd never know it was coming!

I agree but I think he's become a real pussycat as he has gotten older. Thats not a bad thing...to me he seems like a real sweety.

I voted for Sheppard just because I think he could hold a grudge longer and make your time at Atlantis not a happy one if you REALLY crossed him.

I really don't think of any three of them being the type to hold a grudge. Now Rodney McKay on the other hand...

I could totally see Shep holding a grudge.
edit: He acts so immature and self centered sometimes, that I think the grudge thing would come almost naturally.

I voted for Sheppard. He seems like the type of person that would hold a grudge. Plus, in my opinion, he seems tougher than all three. Even tougher than Jack at his best. As well of a job as RDA did at playing Jack, I have to say that Kurt Russell will always be O'Neall to me. As far as Cameron Mitchell goes, I like him. Yes, the show took a whole different direction with him, but I don't dislike him. He is also not bad on the eyes.

Cam Mitchell is very easy on the eyes. Great guy. The show didn't just take a different direction, it changed completely!! When Daniel had been captured by the Oriwitch (can't remember what they called her)...the NEXT SCENE was Cam, Sam, Teal'c and *gag* Vala coming down the ramp all smiles. Sorry, that is NOT SG-1. The REAL SG-1 would have been hell bent to get him back. Yeah, I know that a couple of shows later they tossed in a line of dialogue about it being 'planned'. As hubby said, another "***" moment. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many of those in 9 and 10! And then the suits have the brass ones to stand and say "We just don't know why the fans didn't like it". Here's a quarter, Sparky. Buy a freaking clue!
