Break time. I just finished packing the kids suitcase. I'm shocked I can still get all their stuff into one suitcase. LOL!

After my break, I'm gonna start working on mine. I got to run and pick up Johnny and then it's off to dinner theater. It's Ema's birthday. I took her to breakfast and to Toys R Us. She is such a girly girl and a girl after my own heart. Everything was pink and on clearance. EVERYTHING. LOL!

Then, we have to clean the cars seats tonight and tommorow it's off to the airport.

While on my trip, I took a boat (kind of a small cruise) out to an island. There the boat staff served us lunch along with a glass of wine. Well I've never had wine before and it seemed like everyone else in my group took a glass, so I thought, why not? I'll try it.

Oh my goodness that was the worst tasting stuff! One sip and I wanted to spit it out, it was so bitter! Bleh!

On the boat I decided to buy my first Pina Collada. A guy in my group bought one without alcohol, saying he liked them better without alcohol, so I tried it too, without alcohol. It was absolutely delicious!

Here is the mix.

3 oz light rum
3 tbsp coconut cream
3 tbsp crushed pineapples

One of my favorite drinks is Malabu Rum (coconut rum) with diet coke. yummy.

I'm not a huge red wine fan, but a few I can tolerate. But I love some Reisling and Chardonnay.

I happen to love Arbor Mist Blackberry Merlot. I'm not a big wine fan, myself, unless it's a Merlot or a nice Chardonnay...I like the very light, fruity wines or a rich fruity wine.

When I was living with my in-laws, my MIL and I would go out...there was a club that served a drink called the Blue Hawaiian. I haven't been able to find anyone around here who has a clue what it is...but it didn't even taste like alcohol...was very pinapple-y (yum!) and I learned that six of them were my limit! *grin*

Baileys Irish cream......yummy. Forget the beer and the girly drinks that is what I drank. No wonder I am so messed up. LOL:wink:

I don't drink much, but I love a glass of wine every now and then. But, I use to really like a simple Jack and Coke back in the day. I also enjoyed straight 151, but I leave that to the younins' these days.

Oh, I soooooooooooooooo disagree! Give me a bottle of Tequila, a plate of limes and a salt shaker, and I'm a happy camper! That's the REAL way to drink Tequila...*big grin* Ice cold beer on a hot afternoon...oh yeah! (But ONLY if it's MGD!)

I'm not much into liquors, with the exception of Schnapp's. Pick a flavor. My favorites are Peach and Peppermint. I LOVE Buttershotz...tastes exactly like butterscotch candies...and I love those!

My friend makes this drink that is so good. Everything measures to taste, so it's really easy to make. Take frozen peaches (cut into bits), add peach Schnapp's and top it off with a bit of Chardonnay. It is divine.......

I also like Margaritas. There is a steak restaurant that my family goes to a lot and we sometimes get drinks there. Of course we don't drink when my grandmother is with us.:wink: But they have this margarita that will knock you on your butt. It is so strong. I normally can handle those but this one - I was only able to drink half of it.:sigh:

My favorite peach Schnapp's drink is the fuzzy navel. 1/3 glass of peach Schapp's, 2/3 orange juice. Yummy!

Actually eggnog is supposed to have rum in it. Buttered rum is the best. I'd be sick too if I tried to drink it with whiskey!

I believe it is a German liquer similar to Peppermint Schnapps. But, I have seen it on occasion in the US.
