I missed this one tonight, but thought I'd get the thread started for anyone who wants to discuss it.

Do you really want to get started on this...what is with the writers I mean I am telling you this eps. just sucked, royally. Ok, so Vala's dad came along and what was the whole point? Naquida bombs on the way to Earth stored on this planet. They go and destroy them and then they find out that was not all of them. I am sorry. This was almost as bad as Camerons high school reunion. The only thing that saved that eps. was Daniel. ;) I sure hope that the movies are better than what they have been putting out as of late. Its eps. that make me hang my head in shame saying that I am an SG-1 fan.
But that is just my opinion.

Okay, here is my thoughts (spoilers for anyone who has not seen it):

I sort of liked this episode. I could relate to Vala in some sort on this (my dad was not the greatest either). However, I thougth I was going to die laughing at the end. Poor Teal'c. He was sitting there in that theater all dressed up and looking nice thinking he was going to see a play and then that "discussion" happens. XD

I have yet to see it, but your the second person who told me they almost died laughing at the end.

I suppose it was funny considering who Teal'c actually is.

Okay, I'll admit it, the end was really funny. First, Vala trying to flip Teal'C over in itself made me chuckle. Then, to see him in that theater. I laughed out loud. Made me want to see the conversation he'd have with the team afterwards. Oh, how I loved the look on his face.

The episode as a whole was okay. I could relate to how Vala felt. But, little did she realize how much like her father she was really like. Or, maybe she did and that was what was really bothering her.
