First thread I have started here in a while so I hope I did this right.

I liked this episode. I have been hoping they would do one like this some time. Unless I'm mistaken this is the first time they have gated into a society that has been at about the same level of technology as us. The Stargate would be in a museum, party going on, perfect.

MS was great in this, I loved his facial expressions. However I don't think the old daniel would ever have agreed to do this.

Anyway great episode.

I'm gonna be sad to see the show go.

I am sorry they may have had good intentions with this episode but I was board stiff. I have been getting sick of the show ever since Vala and Ben Browder's *sp?* charater took over. It is almost like they are grasping for threads here just to keep people interested till the end. RDA should never have left the show.
Sure they gated to a world that was as up to date as Earth but I don't know maybe I was in a bad mood when I watched this...but for me it was not up to snuff.
As for Daniel...he is no longer the charater I adored in the first few seasons. He is like Carter now. Maybe he should have the rank of Captain or Major to go infront of his name instead of DR.

I don't know that it was the greatest, but I did like it. It certainly was better than last weeks episode.

I too like MS work in this episode. Found some parts particularly humorous.

I LOVED this episode! Daniel was just so cute losing his mind and Teal'c was funny being all cool and calm and trying to keep everyone in line (I would've zatted the guy trying to cause an uprising among the hostages too!) and the whole "Die Hard" thing. :D
