Like with SG-1, I liked this episode because there were things I just didn't expect or see coming. Kinda hard too since I barely remember the previous episodes since they haven't aired in over half a year. *stupid Sci-Fi channel* I have no memory of the guy they found out in space.
Personally, I don't think it was believable that Jack could hold his breath for so long. Second, I don't care to see Jack in the show and just doing nothing significant. It's like he's a prop. I want the old, active Jack back.
But I did enjoy the episode. I wanna know how they knew about this underwater bay because I don't ever remember seeing or hearing about it before.
Thought it was cool how they fooled the Replicators in the end. Though I think we needed to see Landry face the Atlantis team at the end, I felt unsatisfied with it. I think they should have done that rather than do that replay to show us what really happened. They could have simply told us that when it happened rather than do that rewind thing, I felt it was totally unnecessary and as I said, would have rather seen Landry confront the team.
Poor Carson, in the dog house again from Jack's comment. Though he seemed to do very well with the chair. For having hundredsd of Replicator on base, it sure didn't seem like it. Never saw anything close to those numbers. Again, not satisfying enough to say there are that many and only see a handful.
I did think seeing the puddle jumper race through the city with the drones on its tail was some very cool visual effects.
I thought the hug at the end was, er, interesting. More than anything I thought Jack's reaction was cute. He can take hugs from Sam because of their history together. Lizzie is a different story.
I miss Jack being at the top of his game.
