Like with SG-1, I liked this episode because there were things I just didn't expect or see coming. Kinda hard too since I barely remember the previous episodes since they haven't aired in over half a year. *stupid Sci-Fi channel* I have no memory of the guy they found out in space.

Personally, I don't think it was believable that Jack could hold his breath for so long. Second, I don't care to see Jack in the show and just doing nothing significant. It's like he's a prop. I want the old, active Jack back.

But I did enjoy the episode. I wanna know how they knew about this underwater bay because I don't ever remember seeing or hearing about it before.

Thought it was cool how they fooled the Replicators in the end. Though I think we needed to see Landry face the Atlantis team at the end, I felt unsatisfied with it. I think they should have done that rather than do that replay to show us what really happened. They could have simply told us that when it happened rather than do that rewind thing, I felt it was totally unnecessary and as I said, would have rather seen Landry confront the team.

Poor Carson, in the dog house again from Jack's comment. Though he seemed to do very well with the chair. For having hundredsd of Replicator on base, it sure didn't seem like it. Never saw anything close to those numbers. Again, not satisfying enough to say there are that many and only see a handful.

I did think seeing the puddle jumper race through the city with the drones on its tail was some very cool visual effects.

I thought the hug at the end was, er, interesting. More than anything I thought Jack's reaction was cute. He can take hugs from Sam because of their history together. Lizzie is a different story.

I miss Jack being at the top of his game.

I really liked this episode as well. Although, I missed just the first few minutes. What happened to the Atlantians who were there?

I liked Jack in the episode. I didn't need action packed from him because his humor and sarcasm was enough. And, in all honesty and reality, we have to remember he is getting older (something that is starting to show up in real life as well). Remember, Jack said he was going to retire soon.

I loved Wolsey (sp??). He reminds me of an early Rodney. No one liked him and in turn everybdoy blamed him, but in the end was the comic relief.

I too was suprised by the ending. I thought they would have gotten a thorough "chewing" not only by Jack, but by Landry as well. But, I didn't have an overwhelming need to see that because we all knew they would end up back on Atlantis.

I also loved all the great little bits of humor between the team members. It's nice to see that again.

Oh and didn't I say the frozen dude was coming back?

I think I did!

I think they said they killed the Atlantians.

Jack is only as old as he feels.

I've loved Robert Picardo ever since Star Trek: Voyager.

The frozen dude meaning the replicator is space?

So what did you think of Weir hugging Jack?

The frozen dude meaning the replicator is space?

Yep

So what did you think of Weir hugging Jack?

I thought it was sweet on her part and Jack's response (for Jack) was pretty inline with the character. Reminded me a little bit of the scene in the second LOTR movie where Aragorn hugged Haldir and Haldir didn't quite know what to do.

Anyhow, I liked it because we all know, it's so hard for Jack to express his feelings, let alone know what to do when other people express their feelings.

He probably reacted the same way my boss would react if I suddenly threw my arms around him and gave him a hug. :p

You know, I could totally see Kurt Russell reacting in the same way.

You hit it right on the mail, especially Kurt Russell.

Worst ancients ive ever seen. All ive seen from the Ancients from SG-1 is just utter dissapointment

Great ep though. better then I figured it would be. Great trick they pulled at the end, and visual sequences...

Good ol jack.

Replicators and Ancients have lost all lust. Their just... Written to BE boring XD

We didn't see any Ancients in this one.

I think it might be interesting if there were an episode where the team somehow got sent back in time to when the Ancients were there, long before they were driven away.

Well, there was the episode where Weir got sent back. Close as your gonna get, minus the team.

Why do you think that's the closest we're going to get? You absolutely don't think the PTB's would do such an episode?

Do you really think they'll do another show that would basically be exactly the same but with the entire team instead of just Weir?

Colonel Carter

I don't think it would be exactly the same. As I said, for starters, they wouldn't go back to just before the Ancients left but an earlier time. Wouldn't it be a heck of a thing if our heroes accidentally inadvertantly helped to create the Wraith?

I liked this episode. RDA was good. Hewit was better. Good show, great wit in this one.

Yeah, the ancients werent there, exactly. They got decimated in like a matter of seconds.

Yep.
I loved how Jack actually did something.
I've always liked the guy from Voyager, and he does so well in this series.
That rewind scene really confused me at first. I thought they went back in time or something. I think it would have been better to let it happen without the explanation and have them explain it to Jack or Landry later.
I don't remember the underwater landing place either. I don't think they told us about that before.

It sounds that from next weeks episode they are going to spend more time under water and exploring that.

I thought they drained it so it's not underwater now.

Next week, Shamu Strikes Back.
