Ooo thats harsh. Newfoundland is a great place. The people are friendlier than anywhere else in Canada and it is a beautiful place. There use to be a fishery...but that is nither hear not there. They have their own distinct culture. (A mix of Irish, Scot and English. Mostly Irish and Scot) And a language that is very uniquly there own.
ie: What are ya at, by's?
Wheres ya too?
etc...
I also live out there for ten years off and on. Mostly on. Also both my kids were born there. This first ever of my family name. I have been accross Canada nine times and Other than Ontario, I have never found a provence more beautiful. The only thing that compares for scenery is where you are driving West and you see the foot hills of Alberta and the Rocky Mountains inbehind.

Sounds really nice. I may have to change my plans to go to London/Ireland (I have yet to decide) and check out Newfoundland instead. Of course, I'm still trying to convince the hubby we don't need to go to Mexico. LOL!

Brat.

I never implied that it wasn't, so I don't know why you thought a simple question asking about a place I know nothing about is harsh. I couldn't tell by your tone earlier if you were bragging or being sarcastic or what, which is why I asked if you were bragging and if you were bragging, why you think Newfoundland is so great because I know nothing about it. I was not trying to insult you, I was just asking a question. Thanks for the info.

I thought she was saying my joke was harsh, but anyway New Foundland sounds awesome. But I agree with Dracus about the friendly Candians. I thought that was pre-requisite to being candian. You have to be extremely nice all the time.

I was joking around about the harsh part. Gee's....
Not everyone in Canada is nice and polite. Our Toronto is getting as bad as your New York city. With the killings and stuff but no matter....just another misconception. No biggy...:yea:
