View Full Version : WHY?

I've noticed that there are a lot of people who have registered usernames and have never posted. And I'm just curious - why? I don't understand because I wouldn't register a username with a message board unless I was ready to start posting there. So I honestly don't understand why people have registered usernames and never posted.

Did you think you were going to see something that you wouldn't see being unregistered? I can't think of anything that would be of interest to see to being registered as opposed to being unregistered.

Did you see something you didn't like? Then let us know. Post or send Jack O'Neill or me a private message and tell us. We're interested in making this place the best possible message board on the net and we welcome your suggestions. Are the spoilers not advertised well enough as spoilers? Let us know how you think we can improve that. Is there something that was said that you think is offensive. Let us know. We want to see this community grow and it's frustrating to see so many registered users who have never posted. It makes me think there's something wrong with the board that ya'll are upset about and don't want to post here.

So please, let us know what's on your mind.

I've often wondered the same thing.

I think if you are registered, and then log in with your user name it will keep track of new posts and posts read and things like that.

I also think people think there is more for registered members.

Well there is if you get to 50 posts or more. At 50 posts you can start playing the arcade games.

And if anyone plans on registering a username just to post spam advertisements, don't bother. They'll be immediately deleted and you'll be banned from the community. So why waste your time?

Is that why our newest member got banned?

Just curious.....

Yeah. Let's just say the board censors starred out a word in the title of the person's post. If you click on their username, I put the reason for their being banned in their biograpy. You'll also notice if you click on their username a red/orange band of bubbles for their reputation, like mine is green. That's because I lowered their reputation so low the board has labeled this person a Wraith. :D
