Do you MySpace?

I've heard people talk about MySpace. I've looked at it. I don't quite get it. I was wondering if anyone here actually has a MySpace account and what you think of it.

Yep, I like it!

At first I didn't get it either, but once you get it set up (this process could take awhile depending on how particular you are) it's a little bit fun. I now am able to keep in contact with friends and family and actually found two family members that I hadn't talked to in years.

I haven't seen anyone on there I really know. Well, I did see two sisters, one in college and the other in high school, who are daugthers of a person who led a camp I went to as a kid, but they were so young back then I doubt they'd know who I was. I'd feel lonely I think being on there with no friends! lol

It took me a while to get a build up. And still, I only have a handful of friends. But, I like it that way. I see people who have hundreds of friends and family and wonder how they keep good quality relationships with all those people.

When I set my account up, you can go in and link to most email address books and invite people you may already know. That's how I got my sisters on myspace.

Yeah, I see people with hundreds. Which I probably have more than that in aquaintances, but not people close enough that I'd call friends. Most of the people I've called friends over the years have moved on and I don't know where they're at. Problem is, most of them are female and at this point many are probably married and would have a different last name making them even harder to track. :)
