So, how many ship commanders are they going to kill off?

And why can't SG-1 go on exploratory missions to other planets like they used to? I'm getting tired of all these space scenes.

One major goof was when Cam went to the other ship and impersonated the Lucian Leader. The others should not have been able to see that unless he stabbed them all and he never even touched them. So both this show and Atlantis were full of huge errors. So annoying.

Besides that, I did think it was a okay episode. Not great, but okay.

I liked the episode.

I was thouroughly (sp?) ****ed about how they killed the ship commander. The oddesy has actualy been doing somthing a lot of human ships havent been doing- Not sucking.

This commander didnt have much to him, but he was still a cool guy they could have built on. But no, he dies.

I did miss a lot in season 9... So someone tell me why all the lucian alliance guys have Pistols? Including the ones not on the oddesy?

Ah the oddesy... Like I said, its becoming a real cool ship. Though, I gotta admit, I laughed my *** off when the lucian firsts were having dinner, and one of them says somthing like "You know sending him to kill the ship would have been suicide, the tauri vessel is unstoppable"

Unstoppable? HAH! Please, tell me ONE time that ship even did so much as got the sheilds of another ship down? None!
The dedalus is the only ship with a killcount. And thats because she teleported nukes on to other ships.

The lucian ship mitchell infiltrated... Well, as I recall, other ghoauld ships were crawling with the clankly rows of gaurds. This ship consisted of all the firsts and some gaurds.

No wonder mitchell kicked their butts.

..but in the end, I liked it. :p

I don't know. The episode seemed to "cut together". What I mean is, it didn't seem to flow to me. But, I have to admit, I missed bits and pieces of the show thanks to the kiddos.

I too couldn't figure out why no one else recognized him except the alien in the end (forget his name). I didn't believe his acting. That's coming from a BB fan too. Perhaps it was the writing, I don't know.

But, there were a few things I liked. When Teal'C almost hit Mitchell. Found that quite amusing. Everything Mitchell was doing seemed WAY too easy. While some didn't like him, no one suspected him (that I can remember). Plus, unless I got mixed up, how is it that that alien recognized Mitchell in one scene, but not at the end of the show?

I also found the comment "The Tauri are more of a pain than the Ori", a bit unbelievable.

Anyhow, not too fond of this episode outside of a few scenes.

I agree that the comment about the Tau'ri being more of a pain was unbelievable.

That's my complaint, there was no way that was logical.

Somthing about the ring... Nobody else could tell mithcell was the guy he was posing, because they hadnt seen him. Except the leader of the allience of course. And I guess since mithcell changed it to someone everybody knew the face of, it made sense...

Thats why I like earth so much in the show. Beside the point we are earth... We fight in the 'shadows' per say and usualy kick butt :p

I'm not talking about them. I forget that alien who showed up towards the end of the show. He totally recognized Mitchell, but didn't out him as long as Mitchell gave him a cut.

But, at the very end of the show when Mitchell was pretending to be the Lucian leader they didn't recognize him.

What's up with that?

I was saying, it somehow projects what they look like. The other guys didnt know what the person Michell was impersonating looked like, so they just saw him. And the bounty hunter knew him already, and didnt know the guys face.

But the bounty hunter knew what the lucian leader looked like, and when mitchell projected that, thats what he saw.

Have I lost my marbles? Because I was totally thinking it worked a different way. Maybe I misunderstood what Jacob had explained to Daniel about the ring. If it indeed works the way Dracus explained, that would be a pretty unreliable way to disguise yourself. You never know who you could run into.

The ring Mitchell wore would only work if you stabbed the person with it. Only they would see the person you were trying to impersonate. However, I guess it's possible Mitchell secretly stabbed him before he left and the alien didn't lay eyes on Mitchell after that until Mitch came aboard his ship and immediately assumed a different identity.
