Right now, I got the worst song stuck in my head. It just came to me out of the blue but I blame work because the radio station they play at work likes this song and I don't think I ever heard it before working there. I only remember this line...

"Pick me up before you go go don't leave me hanging on like a yoyo."

I HATE THAT SONG!!! IT'S SO STUPID!!!

It's even worse than the song that's been stuck in my head for the past couple weeks which is also due to that blasted radio station they play at work...

I've spent 20 years tryin to get out of this place
I was looking for something I couldn't replace
I was runnin' away from the only thing I've ever known
and like a blind dog without a bone
I was a gypsy lost in the twilight zone
I hijacked a rainbow and crashed into a pot of gold

I've been there done that and I aint lookin' back on the seeds Ive sown.
saving dimes, spending too much time on the telephone....
who says you can't go home

who says you can't go home
there's only one place they call me one of their own
Just a hometown boy born a rolling stone
who says you can't go home

who says you can't go back been all around the world and as a matter of fact
there's only one place left I wanna go
who says you can't go home
it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright

I went as far as I could try'in to find a new face
There isn't one of these lines that I would erase
I left a million miles of memories on that road
and every step I take I know that I'm not alone
You take the home from the boy but not the boy from his home
these are my streets the only life I've ever known
Who says you can't go home

who says you can't go home
there's only one place they call me one of their own
just a hometown boy born a rolling stone
who says you can't go home

who says you can't go back been all around the world and as a matter of fact
there's only one place left I

Oh, your talking about WHAM!~

Wow, that radio station is digging way back into the 80's. I happen to love that song when I was a teenager. I'm not too fond of it now, but I do like a lot of that groups stuff. Too bad they didn't last longer, but I do enjoy George Michael now that he has a solo career.

Nothing really stuck in my head since I just woke up, but for the last two weeks I've been really stuck on a song by Blue October......I want to say the title is 18th Floor Balcony, but I'm not absolutely sure.

Never Heard Of WHAM?

George Michael before he was well, George Michael.

How about

Never Gonna Dance Again

I hate to say it, but back in the 80's I kind of liked WHAM as well.

Never Heard Of WHAM?
I didn't turn 13 until 1990. As a child, I really didn't know who singers were. I wasn't even introduced to pop music until I was 10 and my older brother got his first car in which he took me to school in and I heard pop music for the first time. Prior to that, my parents only ever had me listen to Easy Listening or kiddie type songs.

So I really don't know much in regards to singers and bands of the 1980's, I just know I like the style of music from back then. This song is obviously one of the exceptions.

Wham was a very popular British group back in the 80's. It was with George Michael and Andrew Ridgely.

I thought you were a bit older than that Carter. It's amazing how a couple of years make a difference in the music one listen too.

Well, if your 29, then I cannot believe you've never heard of WHAM! You not that much younger than me. :p

Well I've never been much into pop-music.

Okay, that would explain it. You would have had to been a "pop head" to know WHAM who as pop as pop could get.
