ORIGINAL U.S. AIR DATE - 09.08.06
SYNDICATION AIR DATE - 11.05.07
WRITTEN BY - Joseph Mallozzi & Paul Mullie

Striken with amnesia and on the run, Vala takes a job as a waitress as she tries to piece together who she is and what happened to her.
It helps that Vala has such a likable character. It makes watching her enjoyable even though she hasn't been a part of the show for as long as the others.
**********
The episode was okay. It thought the introduction was lame in how they used a later scene at the beginning like that. I'm generally not a fan of that technique and I just didn't think it worked well in this episode.
I was not at all impressed with the Goa'uld. If she really was a Goa'uld, why wasn't she using the Goa'uld voice? I didn't buy it.
For as hard as it usually is to find people, I thought it a bit too fast for them to find the right location for where Vala was. Conveniant nearly everyone dies so she could escape. I think back to when Sam was abducted, it was much harder for them to find her.
Sweet sentiment near the end between Daniel and Vala, but Vala's memory of Daniel coming back to her then seemed a little too conveniant.
Mitchell naked and handcuffed to the bed I thought was a lame joke.
I really liked the owner of the restraunt. He was a good character.
The episode seemed to jump around too much and seemed to move a little too fast. And did the fake Col. Carter not show credintials? I can't believe the cop would let her be taken without credentials.
And one thing I really loved in the episode was how Mitchell shot the Zat gun down the beam to knock the guy out. I thought that was pretty cool. So was the car/motorcycle chase and crash.

I liked this episode. I thought is was better than most of the recent shows. I think Season 10 is steadily improving. Season 9 was really bust.
The car and motorcycle chase was pretty cool or as Dracus would say RAWK
Overall good show.

Okay, I thought the episode was pretty good. But, I was a little suprised at Vala's reaction to Mitchell. It seems she so comfortable using her training to subdue the guys in the restaurant and the people in the car, but was so hestitant to trust anyone who was trying to help her. Seemed odd since she so easily went to Daniel.
I too really liked it when the Mitchell shot that zat in the warehouse. That I must admit was pretty cool. However, I found his semi nude seen completely unnessesary (sp??). And that is coming from someone who would love a sneak peek at BB. Although, I did manage to chuckle the second time when the team came in and he was eating, I don't know, cupcake or something.
But overall it was a good episode.
Of course, after missing six weeks, I would have probably thought any episode was good. :p

I can accept Vala's fast remembrance if it's due to the fact they were connected by those bracelets previously. Maybe that engrained something in her genetic memory or something like that.

I suppose that is plausible. Plus, she has had previous interaction with Daniel as well.

Those two also seem to be a lot closer. I can't quite figure out if they're attracted to each other or if they simply have a more brother-sister type relationship. I like the idea better of them having a brother-sister relationship. I just don't think they're a good match romantically. I'd rather see Daniel with Sarah. Although lately I've been entertaining the idea of Daniel and Teyla. :p I could see Vala and Mitchell better than I could see Vala and Daniel. I could see Vala and Teal'c better than I could see Vala and Daniel. Ooh, how about Vala and Sheppard?! Now wouldn't that be an interesting match? Oh, no, Vala and Rodney!!! YEAH BABY!!!!

Your too funny!
Interesting you mentioned Vala and Mitchell first, as BB and CB characters "hooked up" in Farscape.
I could maybe see Vala and Sheppard, however, it would take a long time to get to that point as they are both pretty hard headed. However, I'm finding that Vala seems to be softening up a bit.
Although, you have to wonder as Vala thought they were on a date and Daniel was swearing they weren't.

I think because of the actors prior working relationship on Farscape is the reason why I can see those two together a lot better.
I do think Vala and Sheppard would make an interesting pair. I can just imagine if it had been Sheppard, instead of Daniel, that she had trapped on that ship. Those two would make an interesting match.
The whole thing about a date/not a date did seem confusing as to what each one of them was really thinking/feeling. It is possible that Daniel truly does feel like a brother towards her and she's misunderstanding that for a romantic interest. I'm hoping that anyways. I really don't want to see them paired up as a couple. I also think that what Vala needs is for Daniel to be the loving, watchful, looking out of her big brother type. A positive relationship in her life which is not romantic.
Besides, she's already married. :D

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You know, it would be just like the writers to write in a romantic thing for them two, only to have her husband show up towards the end of the season.
Which reminds me. If they do indeed end the show, how in the world are they going to tie up all the loose ends.

Loose ends? Like the fact we've never really met the Furlings?! I refuse to believe those ridiculous looking creatures in 200 were the real Furlings.

Or the entire ancient storyline or the current storyline. What's going to happen to Baal?
Is Vala ever going to see her daughter again?
Are they gonna fess up about Sam and Jack?
Will Daniel ever settle down and be happy?
Is Teal'C gonna stay or go?
What happened to the Tok'ra?
What happened to Bratak?
So many questions unanswered.

I think they'll sum up the Ori storyline, including Vala and her daughter though maybe not her husband, by then unless they're going to use the Ori as a plot for a new Stargate series.
We've seen Bra'tac already this season. He and Landry travelled to that planet with the Ancient device which destroyed the Replicators. I don't see him as a loose end. I think it's safe to assume he's working with the Free Jaffa when we don't see him.
I would hope that the series would end with us knowing where each member of SG-1 was heading. To see the final break-up of the team as they each let you know what they're heading to next.
Knowing what happened to the Tok'ra would be very nice.
It would be nice to see Ba'al's end, unless they want to use him in a future series that they're talking about doing or ship him off to the Pegasus galaxy to be a thorn in the Atlantis team's sides.

RAWK!!! XD
I found this episdoe quite enjoyable. First off, there were a few shootout scenes, and some action and high speed chases there. Enjoyable.
I liked how Vala forgot everything. It was beleivable, and her second nature to run was too :p
<,< I also loved the ammount of jokes in this episode. They didnt seem to do that in previous ones...
All in all, I liked it
Im SO ****ed I didnt see both Atlantis and SG-1 on my new HDTV! I missed them and had to download them :sigh:

Ancients... no idea
Valas definitley gonna see that stupid daughter again
No, Jack and Sam will never get together.
Daniel... maybe.
Teal'c will go in the end is what I think
Didnt they mention the tokra in this episode?
bra'tak is still there : D
Psh, im sure they can squeeze it all in.

No, Jack and Sam will never get together.
They already got together. The whole reason why Jack retired from the SGC was so that he wouldn't be her direct supervisor anymore so that they could pursue a relationship. It has been underlining ever since that the two of them have a secret relationship off camera going.

Yeah, that was pretty much what I was thinking. I was just wondering if it was gonna come out into the open at the end of the show.

Must have been in an episode that I missed while I was on the road and during the three weeks the cable people couldn't come out.
