Mitchell vs. Sheppard

In a hand to hand fight, who do you think would win - Col. Cameron Mitchell or Col. John Sheppard?

It took me awhile to think about my answer for this one, even after I posted the question. I finally went with Mitchell because I think he has more combat training and experience. Sheppard, on the other hand, spent several years as a pilot in remote areas where he didn't engage in much combat.

All though I would be rooting for Shepard I believe Mitchel would win the fight.

I don't know, I'd probably be rooting for Cameron. Sheppard bugs me. I think perhaps because I see a lot of his character flaws in me. :b So maybe I should root for Shep because of that, but I overall like Cameron a little better. I always fall for the nice guys. :blush:

I voted for Sheppard. Obviously. I really think he could teach that guy a thing or two. Besides I really dislike Cameron and he just about as much of a pain as Vala is.

I voted for Mitchell. I'm not an Atlantis fan, and Sheppard never struck me as the 'hand-to-hand' type.

Oh, that's just too sad! There are three years in my past that were very painful to endure, but I did, I survived, I learned, I grew, and I moved on. It does seem sometimes that the dark clouds do like to hang around far too long.

I can sympathise big time there.....I have a 10 year gap that I can remember anything after my mental break down. The 10 years included my 3 ex's. I am kinda glad I do not remember...bad times.

As for John Sheppard, he's got his head on his shoulders and he in not as cocky as Mitchell.

Ditto ladies. We all have had those years.

I find with Sheppard, that he on occasion can be just as cocky as Mitchell, but not on a regular basis. Remember, in the begining he thought his way or the highway. Recall how many arguments he got into with Weir and in front of other people. Not to mention disobeying orders.

I've been called that myself. Best response I've come up with is a slightly raised eyebrow, and then "You say that as if it's a bad thing." (Got that from a button my girlfriend sent me) They either crack up laughing, or are so surprised that they have no response.

Actually, I pressed the wrong name. >.< I'd say Cameron. This is only due to the fact that Cameron has lived with the Sodan for a long time and has trained with Teal'c along with the fact he's now pretty good with a sword. Sheppard could hold his own, of course, but I think ultimately Cameron would win due to his training.

Now in a 302 fight, that would be an interesting fight.

Have we really seen an episode though where Sheppard has his butt handed to him and then he wins at the end? (I'm lost right now to think of one)

I think that the first episode of 'Rising' comes pretty darn close. Or ....oh what that one ah...'The Defiant One'...the one where that lone Wraith is on a planet and Shep and his team gets stuck with him....Pretty good fight seens in that between Shep and the Wraith.
That is just off the top of my head at the moment. They are reairing season one right now on Space.
