<,< I thouroghly enjoyed this episode.

I think this is one of the first times atlantis introduced a new, side character into the show and didnt Kill/Betray/Double Cross/Injure/Jip or any other form of betrayel. With a wraith, too.

I thought it would be cool if shepard came out looking like how he did when he was first fed on.

Anyways, on to the wraith. I thought the wraith was awsome. He was a wise, old, and generaly cool guy. He sort of liked shepard. But even so, he cant control his urge to feed on him. Which I thought was cool.

Not to mention when he got out of the jail cell. Holding the guy against the jail cell, he smashed the chains against the wall, breaking loose the bonds and fed on the guy.

With much growling afterwards <,<

And the fact shepard was to the point of looking 100, captured in the first place, and previous attempts to get out was awsome, since it now shows the shepard isnt invincible. Like most main characters of SG-1...

And like I said, they DIDNT kill the wraith in the end. Tis a first!

XD I also like how shepard disapeared into the jumper at the end. Like batman <,<

Rawk.

He was injured. He got shot several times.

The episode was a little too predictable. The moment Sheppard began to look older I knew that by the end of the episode he would be back to his old self. No way the show would continue on making him old for the rest of the series. I did find Weir's lack of emotion in regards to what John was suffering to be extremely unbelievable. She's always been so emotional about Sheppard in the past and now as he's facing certain death, she's extremely non-chalant about it. What's up with that? Her character's lack of leadership skills has always been annoying, but now they're not even keeping her personality the same?

The Wraith did sound like an elderly grandfather type. So it was a shock to see him then talk about how he wanted more than anything to feed on Sheppard. So the complexity of the Wraith characater was intriguing. I wondering if we'll see him again. It was truly interesting to learn that they can give life back to someone. But the whole concept of draining years and giving years back seems a little too fantasy based with not enough realism to it to make be believe in the fantasy. Which the unrealisticness of it seemed to grow when it was discovered that they can give years back. I wasn't buying it. That might be part of why I don't like Atlantis as much as SG-1. The whole concept of Wraith feeding seems too unbelievable to me.

Why can't they feed on animals? Why only humans? I think it would truly be interesting if Dr. Beckett could find a way to change what Wraith's need to feed on so that they stop hunting humans.

I don't have to much to say about this episode. It was good and I enjoyed it. I did feel the giving the life back thing was to fatasy for me.

Good show though.

Ok, finnally got to see this show. Wow!!!
That Wraith was something else that is fore sure. At first he thought that Sheppard was just another Human. But he found that he was not and he was much stronger than that of what he has encoutered before. Very interesting too was the tattoo on the Wraiths face. Saw tattoos before on wraith. I wonder if it is some sort of status symbol or just marks, like we do to ourselves. Interesting concept.

I like the make-up and the way they aged Sheppard.

I think that at the last part where the Wraith sensed others comming and he fed off of Shep...it was to protect him not to kill him. Which again is very strange.
But the way the Wraith explained it about the devout worshippers or brothers...obviously he was not a worshipper and so that left the Brother aspect.

Also the, 'Next time we meet all bets are off.'
Makes sense, considering they are enamies. But...there is the concept of... 'The enemy of my enemy, is my friend.'
It was even the Wraith that said that they hoped they (Shep and the Wraith) did not meet again. Now that shows quite a lot in that statement.

And also the Wraith saying, "There is a lot about the Wraith that Humans do not know."
I think we learned a little bit more than what we did before.
Also the come back later by Sheppard of...'There is alot the Wraith don't know about humans.'
With the nod that the Wraith gave he agreed with the statement.

I think the lesson here for both of them is...
Basically not to under estimate eachother.
