I loved it, they pretty much covered every sci fi show and a few other cult goodies.

Teen Teal'c 'I was gonna tap that' ROFL:p

Well here's my :2cents: for this one - I was EXTREMLY disappointed with this episode. Sure it had a couple of funny moments, but overall it was the LAMEST episode ever. I absolutely hated that last segment where they got the Wormhole X-Treme actors to make fun of the SG-1 actors. I thought it was horribly done. And the Furlings at the beginning - what a HUGE disappointment.

I actually liked some of it, but the last part made me want to change the channel. I liked the part where Daniel, Vala, Teal'c and Sam almost convinced Mitchell that Jack is his father. I also almost liked the zombie movie theme suggested by Mitchell. It was OK to be honest it would have been better if they didn't show the Dorothy in Wonderland suggestion.

PS.... I disliked the Furlings.......

I didn't like this episode either. I found it to be a waist of an episode. All be it there was some funny stuff, but almost two much.

The furlings were a huge disapointment, and RDA was hyped to have a big role, and I think he had a bigger role in Atlantis than here.

Common people you can do better!

Looking at Gateworld's poll for the episode, the vast majority gave it a 10 for Outstanding. Sometimes I wonder about people. There are tv shows I'll see on tv that I think are absolutely terrible, poor acting, horrible storyline and scripts, yet tons of people love them. I just don't get it. :look:

Psh, dissapointed? I was not expecting much from the episode, and I got more than that.

Though in the end it left me wanting more... Some of the moments were still pretty hilarious XD

I mean, teal'c and his show. He throws the guy through the door, comes over with a old detectives uniform on, and goes "In-deed."

Classic XD

Star trek thingy was also pretty awsome. Heck, the farscape was a good kick for those who also watched it

Hey, when jack was invisible? That was freakin hilarious XD

The end was dissapointing. Except when Corperol Danny or whatever was swearing. I mean, the way he did it, how you caught a word he was saying, and.... Oh I just loved it XD

The wizard of oz, blech. But hey, at the end when vala goes "The other have their own problems" I just love how Scarecrow stares blankley, Lion is drinking his coffee in such an emotionless way like daniel, and teil'c with his staff.. XD

Wormhole X-Treme? XDXD

Come on, Shooting zombies with two guns the way mitchell did? Thats so awsome in a funny way XD

But yes, the rest of the episode was terrible.

Did I mention the teen group was just hilarious as well?

Yeh it was meant to be a spoof. I think this episode was as much for the cast and crew as it was for the fans, i bet they had lots of fun doing it. 200 is a big mile stone for a show these days...

Dracus you missed the firefly dig, "who'd make a move from a show that didnt even finish a series?"

Here we are a year later (almost) and I finally got to see this episode. I'm so not going to lie. I love it when they do these funny, slapstickish, parody episodes. We don't get to see many of them, so I enjoy them very much.

Although, I will readily admit, I'm not sure I would have done this one for their special "200th episode". But, after I watched the special features, I understand why they did it.

I liked it. I could not stop laughing when they told Cam Jack was his father. I actually replayed it 3 times. Loved the look on his face. I was abosultely digging the Star Trek reference.

I wasn't thrilled with the puppets, but I have to say, they did a pretty good job and making them look like the team.

I just watched it again as well. And as I did find it to be funny, a bit funnier than I remember. Watching it now, I found it to be quite a quirky little episode. However I still believe it was a waste of an episode, and they could have done so much better.

There were so many 'one-liner's' in this show that 'Gaters and cast were 'in on' that I nearly cried I laughed so hard. This was NEVER meant to be a serious episode, but a celebration of having done 200 episodes, and that's the spirit in which it should be viewed. It was a spoof on many of the things that have happened over the seasons. If you didn't enjoy it, then I'm betting you're 'new' to the show (as in didn't watch the first eight seasons as they were aired). If you've only come to Stargate since season 9-10...well, bless your hearts, I feel for ya. Because the last two seasons only shared the name and the theme music. It was NOT Stargate SG-1. Just my :2cents:
