What did ya'll think of this episode?

I thought the kid was cute. Felt sorry for the poor little guy. I loved when he muttered, "For crying out loud," and Jack grinned. Loved seeing Jacob again. However, they left the episode making you think they would revisit this story as this was still a very real, very active threat, yet we never heard any more about them. So that's the only downfall. I think it's interesting that no other humans besides each member of SG-1 managed to kill a Reetou Rebel. I couldn't help but agree with Daniel when he thought that going to the Reetou Rebel home world was a bad idea. With only a hanful of those Tok'ra weapons, there's no way they could fully scan to make sure none were coming through with them.

In fact, I'm surprised at the very end that Hammond didn't work something out with the Tok'ra to set up a system to install broader band scanners to fully scan the gate room constantly to make sure none ever came through the gate with them.

I'm disappointed that we've never seen or heard from Charlie since this episode. That would have been very intersting to see him again as a Tok'ra. A child Tok'ra.

I thought this episode interesting. I felt bad for the boy though. Again, this is an episode I thought could have been built into more, but never heard from again.

I mean, didn't Jacob tell them they would keep trying? I don't recall there being any additional attacks. Anyhow, I wish even Jacob had mentioned what happened to the boy, even just in passing.

But the episode overall was good.

There are many storylines that should have been continued that weren't.

I think that is one of SG1's downfall. I don't think they have to build an entire season on something, but atleast do one additional episode or even just mention it down the road.
