You started your story out with this line. I find it rather confusing:

Somtime before season 8 of Stargate, and a little after season 2

That's a huge gap between seasons 2 and 8.

I said between those seasons because the ghoauld were the main threat there

Maybe season 5ish? I never actualy saw that one yet XD
