Hello again
It's me Lauren, so anyway I'm in a new program now. I've meet new people. Amazing new people; Teal'c, the quiet and strong warrior from another planet, Daniel, somewhat dull and yet has some interest in him, Samanntha or Sam for short, a very brave gal if I ever met one, then there's Vala; wow umm she has a weird way to expression things, Mitchell, wow he's very handsome and a really good leader, then there's Walter and Landry, those two seem very caring in many ways. I like how modest Walter is and how Landry takes charge of things.
I'm part of SG-26, my fellow team mates and gate travelers treat me as if I'm not just the new girl. I actually love it here. It's cool and amazing. I feel at home here and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm going off world a few hours from now. Oh great, someone just actived the stargate again, well anyway I can't wait for my first travel. I read several of the mission reports from the last several missions and man it sounds scaring, yet amazing at the same time.

She places her diary in her locker before walking out.
"Adema," says a now familiar voice. She turns, stands at attention before saluting Landry who stood near by. He saluted her and told her to get ready to head into the gate. She frowns at the thought, before heading back to the locker room, getting her field uniform and gear ready before heading toward the gate room. She notices several groups including SG-1 standing there waitting for the gate to activate.
"Chevron 4 encoded, Chevron 5 encoded..." says Walter on the intercom as the team assembles around Jack who is explaining what the mission is to all of them. She places her helmet on not sure what to expect considering what she's read.
"Do feel OK?" asks Daniel as he looks at her from the corner of his eyes. She looks up at him, he's standing just beside her with a few others such as Mitchell, Sam, Teal'c and members of four different SG teams. She nods a bit not sure what to say.
"Good, is it you're first time?"
"Yea."
"I understand, you get use to it," he says with a smirk.
She smiles at him feeling somewhat at peace with what's going on around her. The mission is to rescue SG-22 from the Ori based on Chulak. Jack finishes explaining the mission as the gate actives. At first, Lauren was surprised at what she saw, but kept it in rather then annoy the others. Jack walks forward toward the gate with the others following him. She walks in front of Daniel not sure of anything now. She stops short of the gate, closes her eyes before Sam and Daniel grab each of her arms and literary push her forward.
Lauren feels herself being pulled forward until she finally flies out of the other gate and onto the floor. Jack frowns at this as he stands beside a Jaffa general watching as the other SG teams exit the gate. Jack then walks over, picks up Lauren and tells her that she'll be grouped with Sam and Daniel before checking on the others. She takes a deep breath before finding a place to sit.
Scene Change
Sheppard exits the gate not sure what to expect as he walks out of the gate and onto what might have been a testing area for the Ancients or another trap by the Wraith or Replicators. He looks around the area as McKay, Beckett and a few others arrive. He looks at his new surroundings not sure why it's pitch black. He turns around and accidently walks into another person.
"OK, who's that?" he asks the dark.
"It's me McKay." replies the figure in front of him. Sheppard turns on his flashlight and focuses to see what's around them. He pauses noticing that there are several bodies on the floor covered in blood. He looks up noticing a switch nearby. He decides to see if that's the light switch, he turns to be right in a way. The lights do turn on, but in a somewhat dim fashion. He looks at the others not sure if they should go back or explore a bit before actually going back to Atlantis.
Beckett searches the room, seeing whether or not these people are dead or not. He pauses at a body laying a few feet from the doors to this gate room. He looks up at Sheppard and says that this one is still alive. Sheppard then asks if the others are alive as well. Beckett then frowns and replies that most of them are already dead. Sheppard then heads toward Beckett to see if he can help with the body before hearing gun fire outside the newly found gate room. He looks at the other soldiers before motioning them to follow him out the door.
