Eh, okay. I thought the dialogue between Landry and Mitchell was sorta lame. I did think Sam's reaction to Vala suggesting they spend more time together like Landry suggested was funny.

For some reason, the alien monsters reminded me of The Fly. It reminded me of something else too, but I can't remember exactly what. I was unimpressed with their graphics for the monsters. I was annoyed that we never got a good look at it until I realized just how poor quality they looked in action. Clearly they didn't spend a lot of money on that special effect.

The little black bug that caused all that sorta reminded me of the slug creature they put in Chekov's ear in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn."

I must say, if I had to spend the weekend alone in a house with either Landry or Mitchell, I'd pick Mitchell. Give me a Playstation buddy over a chess playing, duck watching buddy any day. I did think it was cute after Landry did his duck mating call how Mitchell asked if he could be dismissed.

That episode had me fooled the entire time. I thought the monster was gonna be the duck!!

XD

I didnt like it. But it was sure as hell better than that Season 9 Bug episode. Loooow budget.....

The monsters... were terrible. The plot jumped around way too much....

Ok, the trust was in there somehwere. For like, 6 minutes. Oh, the agent is suddenly healed? This complete wimp is using alien devices and super spying against Michell and Landry?

Speaking of which, they didnt do enough with Mitchell and Landry. MORE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT : o

They could have done more with Vala and Teilk too. But again, didnt take advantage...

Back to the jumping plot <,< From the cabin, to a hunting world, to the base, to another world, to the cabin...

Blech. I didnt like it. But like I said, better than the meat eating bugs...

It was OK, I think that the episode made some sense, but a lot considering the plot changes and stuff, but it was OK. I kinda thought some moments were sort of funny, like the scene where Teal'c falls onto Vala and she replies "I'm flattered, but I don't have time for it." So anyway, I'd say it was fine, better then the last episode.

I thought the episode was ok. I like the fact that they were trying to get some character development, but I don't think it worked. I thought the graphics were sorta cool, however they needed spend a bit more money.

For what it was it was good. yeah the mutants were abit on the meh side, but its not like they get much time to develope and design creatures, then do all the rigors of wire frame, rendering and animation like can be done in movies. Television is a much different kettle of fish.

I FINALLY got to watch this episode today. I was tracking, tracking, tracking and then so disappionted on what the creature was or how that little slug got there? I'm not even sure how it just "happened" to get out to the woods where they were. Did I miss something? May have to rewatch it.

Although, I found the closing seen quite funny.

I thought the best part of the episode was the the closing scene. I think that's the true comradeship that Stargate is all about. And is sometimes missing in some of the episodes.

The next day Teal'c, Vala, Carter, and Mitchell play poker in O'Neill's cabin. Carter admits that she is not a gambler, but Teal'c agrees, evoking her competitiveness. The others drop out. Teal'c eventually folds, much to Carter's delight. Mitchell commits his final faux pas by laughing about Landry thinking the second creature's attack was a joke. Pleased to see them relaxing, Landry joins the game.
